New Delhi: Argentine star and legendary footballer Lionel Messi was long awaited by Indian fans. However, that wait is now over. Messi has arrived in India. Messi was seen with his Inter Miami teammates Rodrigo De Paul and Luis Suarez. Messi and his teammates received a grand welcome at the airport. Thousands of fans were seen at Kolkata airport, who had come there just to catch a glimpse of Messi. Messi arrived in Kolkata on Saturday, December 13.
What will be Messi’s schedule in Kolkata?
Messi will participate in a special meet and greet event with sponsors in the morning. After that, he will be present at a ceremony at the Salt Lake Stadium where an exhibition match will be played between the Mohun Bagan Messi All-Stars and Diamond Harbour Messi All-Stars teams.
He will arrive at 10:50 AM and interact with both teams. After that, he will felicitate the Bengal Santosh Trophy winning team and participate in a ‘Master Class with Messi’ for children.
