Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar: The Revenge also known as Dhurandhar 2—is delivering a spectacular performance at the box office.
On its fifth day of release Monday the film recorded a net collection of ₹65 crore in India.
According to the trade website Sacnilk, the film has grossed ₹800 crore worldwide, thereby surpassing the lifetime collections of the films Chhava and PK.
The film’s total net collection in India now stands at ₹519.12 crore, while its gross collection has reached ₹619.76 crore. It is worth noting that net collection represents the earnings remaining after taxes, whereas gross collection refers to the total revenue generated from ticket sales.
In the overseas market, the film earned ₹210 crore, bringing its total worldwide gross collection to ₹829.76 crore. In terms of earnings over the first five days, the film currently ranks second. It trails only Pushpa 2, which had earned ₹881.26 crore.

On its fifth day, the Hindi version of the film emerged as the highest earner, collecting ₹60 crore. Meanwhile, the Telugu version collected ₹3.50 crore; the Tamil version, ₹1.20 crore; and the Kannada and Malayalam versions each collected ₹0.15 crore. Surpassing Chhava and PK
Dhurandhar 2 is now rapidly racing towards the ₹1,000 crore mark at the box office. It has already surpassed the lifetime collections of several major Indian films.
By crossing the ₹800 crore mark on Monday, the film overtook the collections of Chhava (₹807 crore) and PK (₹769 crore). The film currently trails slightly behind the lifetime collections of Stree 2 (₹880 crore) and Kantara Chapter One (₹870 crore). It is expected to surpass the collections of these films and cross the ₹900 crore milestone by Tuesday.
Dhurandhar Received a Phenomenal Response
The first installment of Dhurandhar delivered a spectacular performance at both the Indian and international box offices. The film grossed approximately ₹1,307 crore worldwide. In India, the film’s gross collection stood at ₹1,005.85 crore, while its net collection amounted to roughly ₹840 crore. Furthermore, with earnings of ₹894.49 crore, it became the highest-grossing Hindi-language film of all time.
Dhurandhar also received an overwhelming response in overseas markets. It generated business of approximately ₹299.5 crore internationally. Notably, in the US and Canada alone, the film earned over ₹193.06 crore, thereby surpassing the record previously held by Baahubali 2. Interestingly, the film achieved this massive success despite not receiving permission for release in the Gulf countries. Additionally, Dhurandhar became the highest-grossing ‘A’-rated film in the history of Indian cinema.
