US-Israel-Iran War: Today marks the 25th day of the ongoing conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran. Earlier, US President Donald Trump extended his deadline regarding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for Iran. He stated that the US would refrain from attacking power plants within the country for an additional five days. Trump also expressed optimism regarding the possibility of a resolution to the conflict, telling reporters that Iran is seeking to reach an agreement.
He claimed that US envoys are currently engaged in discussions with a respected Iranian leader.
However, on the other hand, Iran has refuted Trump’s claims, asserting that no such discussions have taken place. The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, categorically stated that there have been no negotiations with the US. This contradiction suggests that the information war between the two nations is just as intense as the actual conflict on the ground. Ghalibaf labeled Trump’s statement as “fake news,” alleging that it is being utilized to manipulate global financial and oil markets.
He argued that the US and Israel are currently bogged down in the conflict and are attempting to secure strategic relief for themselves by disseminating such reports. This allegation points toward the existence of an economic war.
