Devarakonda: Complaint filed for insulting tribals, apology demanded for comparing with Pakistanis
Vijay Deverakonda stated the Pahalgam terror attack at the pre-release event of Surya and Pooja Hegde’s upcoming film Retro. However, due to this statement, a complaint has now been filed against him. There are allegations that he has insulted the tribal community in his statement. The complainant has also asked the actor to apologize as soon as possible.
According to Telangana Today report, Advocate Lal Chauhan has filed a written complaint against Vijay at SR Nagar Police Station on Thursday. He has also attached screenshots of the video of the pre-release event of Retro in the copy. The complaint also has copies of the news published by the media on his statement as evidence.
Apart from this, people associated with many tribal organizations have strongly condemned Vijay’s statement and said that he will have to apologize for his statement.
What was Vijay Deverakonda’s statement
At the retro pre-release event, Vijay Deverakonda had said on the Pahalgam attack, the solution to what is happening in Kashmir is to educate the terrorists and ensure that they are not brainwashed. What will they achieve? Kashmir belongs to India, Kashmir is ours. India does not even need to attack Pakistan because Pakistanis are fed up with their government. If all this continues, they will attack them themselves. Actually, just like the tribals fought 500 years ago, these people are doing the same thing without intelligence and understanding.
It is now costing Vijay Deverakonda dearly to call the tribals brainless. No statement has come from Vijay Deverakonda and his team in this matter.
Let us tell you that Vijay Deverakonda will soon be seen in the film Kingdom. This film will be released on May 30.
