
The final concert of the Coldplay band was held in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
During this, the band’s frontman Chris Martin congratulated the 76th Republic Day by singing ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’. After this, he ended the concert.
Cricketer Jaspreet Bumrah also reached the concert going on at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Chris Martin also sang a song for Bumrah. Chris said – Jaspreet, my beautiful brother, the best bowler in cricket, we don’t enjoy seeing you take wickets of England.
This show was organized on the 25th and 26th of January in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. It was the final concert of Chris Martin’s ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’.
In addition to Bumrah, the cricketer Parthiv Patel and Gujarati folk singer Praful Dave, his daughter Ishani Dave, and Congress MLA Jignesh Mevani showed up for the program.

Coldplay’s three shows in Mumbai
In September, Coldplay announced that they would be having two live shows scheduled at the DY Patil Sports Stadium, Mumbai for 18 and 19 January 2025. The fans were delighted, adding a third show on 21 January at the same place. Ahmedabad, too, saw them in two shows on 25 and 26 January, each having an attendance figure of about 200,000 people.

The songs ‘Princess of China’ in the year 2012 were criticized for apparently being derogatory towards Chinese and Japanese cultures, Coldplay was accused of showing contempt towards Indian culture in the song ‘Hymn for the Weekend’ in 2016, and further ‘Viva la Vida’ was alleged of being copied from somewhere; aside from that people were angry when bands continued to play in Israel even during the war.
