Reports suggest that Choudhary was suffering from acute monetary depression, which could have forced him to commit this extreme act. Arrested in a drug case in 2023
Choudhary’s life took a downward spiral following his incarceration in 2023 on drug-related charges. Though he was eventually granted bail, the incident seemed to mark the beginning of his professional and personal downfall. In an attempt to reconstruct his life, he relocated to Goa and has been living there for the past six to seven months.

Film Maker Engineer
Hailing from the Khammam district, Telangana, Choudhary is originally an engineer by profession. He holds a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and later became the Director of Operations of an engineering institute in Pune. Eventually, he made his way to the film industry, producing the Telugu version of Kabali.

Kabali, the film with Rajinikanth, was released on July 22, 2016 and created a new box office record as it raked in ₹650 crore at the global box office. Shot originally in Tamil, the Telugu version was directed by KP Choudhary, who had made his entry into the world of film-making.
