Actor Salman Khan’s father, writer Salim Khan, was threatened by a woman in Mumbai. The incident occurred on September 18. Salim Khan was sitting on a bench after his morning walk when a man riding a scooty passed by, with a woman in a burqa seated behind him.
The man took a U-turn and approached Salim Khan, saying, “Behave properly, or should I tell Lawrence?” The scooter had the number 7444. The Bandra Police registered a case and detained both the man riding the scooty and the woman. They are currently being questioned.
Five Rounds of Firing at Salman’s House on April 14
On the morning of April 14, a firing occurred at Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartment. The shooters arrived on a bike and fired five rounds outside the house before fleeing. Two days later, Mumbai Police arrested the suspects in Gujarat.
So far, the police have accused nine people, including Lawrence, in this case. Of these, six have been arrested. On May 1, one of the six accused, Anuj Thapan, committed suicide while in police custody. Lawrence is already in jail for other cases.
Salman Said – Family Members Are in Danger
The Anti-Extortion Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch recorded Salman Khan’s statement on June 4 regarding the firing incident. Salman said, “I was sleeping that day when I heard what sounded like firecrackers. It was 4:55 in the morning. My police bodyguard told me that two people on a bike had fired a gun on the balcony of the first floor of Galaxy Apartments.”
Salman also revealed that there had been previous attempts to harm him and his family. He believed the Lawrence gang was responsible for the shooting.
Salman added, “Earlier, Lawrence and his gang had spoken in an interview about killing me and my family. I believe Lawrence carried out this shooting with the help of his gang members while my family was sleeping. Their plan was to kill me and my family, which is why they orchestrated the attack.”
Salim Khan Resides in Galaxy Apartment
Salim Khan lives with his family in Galaxy Apartment, located in the Juhu area of Mumbai. He has faced controversy for going on morning walks during the COVID-19 lockdown. He explained that he has been taking morning walks for 40 years due to a lower back problem, as advised by his doctor.
