While ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ and ‘Gustakh Ishq’ are releasing in theatres on Friday, November 28th, the OTT platform has six new films and web series for you this weekend. The biggest release is Volume One of the world’s most popular series, ‘Stranger Things Season 5’.
The buzz surrounding Manoj Bajpayee and Jaideep Ahlawat’s ‘The Family Man Season 3,’ which released on OTT last week, still lingers. Now is the time to discover the new web series and films that are set to make waves this weekend. While Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s “Tere Ishq Mein” and Vijay Varma-Fatima Sana Shaikh’s “Gustakh Ishq” are releasing in theatres on Friday, November 28th, six new series and films are arriving on OTT platforms. The biggest OTT release this week, between November 24th and 30th, is the first volume of “Stranger Things Season 5,” the finale of this immensely popular series, which will be released in two parts. Additionally, Varun Dhawan & Janhvi Kapoor’s “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” is also releasing. Hindi audiences will also be treated to Rishabh Shetty’s “Kantara Chapter 1,” which is now streaming in a Hindi dubbed version. Let’s take a look at the list of new OTT releases:
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” didn’t make much of a splash at the box office. It grossed ₹61.85 crore (approximately $1.85 billion) domestically. Now, this family rom-com is on OTT. The film tells the unique love story of Varun Dhawan (Sunny Sanskari) and Janhvi Kapoor (Tulsi Kumari). Sunny, a pure Mumbaikar, poses as Tulsi’s boyfriend to sabotage the wedding of her ex, Vikram (Rohit Saraf), and his fiancée, Ananya (Sanya Malhotra). Ananya is actually Sunny’s ex. Sunny and Tulsi are making a last-ditch effort to win their love back. But their foolish plan leads to misunderstandings, chaos, and the pretence of a fake couple slowly transforms into a genuine relationship.
