According to Abhineet Kaushik and his legal representative, Rakesh Shetty, the couple had been in a live-in relationship for years before tying the knot in a private ceremony in November 2024. They recently spoke to India Forums, sharing details and even photos from the intimate wedding, which was reportedly kept under wraps at Aditi’s insistence.

Secret Wedding Turns Controversial

Rakesh Shetty disclosed, “Aditi and Abhineet got married on November 12, 2024, in a very private ceremony at their Goregaon residence. The wedding took place as per proper rituals with both their families in attendance. The couple had also rented a 5 BHK apartment six months ago, where they had been living for the past four years.”

Abhineet further revealed that he was initially hesitant about marriage. However, after Aditi convinced him for over a year and a half, he finally agreed under the condition that their marriage remain a secret due to her acting career. He stated, “She didn’t want anyone to know—no friends, no relatives. She believed marriage could affect her career, so I respected her wishes.”

Allegations of Infidelity and Legal Drama

Trouble reportedly began when Abhineet discovered Aditi’s alleged affair with her Apollena co-star, Samarthya Gupta. He claimed to have caught them together, prompting legal intervention. His legal team attempted to reach out to Aditi and her family, but they allegedly dismissed the marriage as a mere “mock trial.”

Adding to the controversy, Abhineet and his legal representatives alleged that Aditi’s family demanded ₹25 lakh for a separation. “We tried multiple times to resolve the matter. The police were also involved when Abhineet confronted Aditi about Samarthya visiting their home while he was away in Pune. Both parties filed NC (non-cognizable) reports, but ultimately, Aditi and her family insisted on a divorce and demanded a hefty sum,” they claimed.

Physical Altercation and Fallout

The dispute escalated further when an alleged physical altercation took place. According to reports, during a heated confrontation, Aditi’s father slapped Abhineet, leading to a scuffle where Aditi was also injured while intervening.

Following the incident, both parties have vacated their shared residence, bringing their tumultuous relationship to an official end.

So far, Aditi Sharma has not commented on the controversy or the allegations leveled against her.
