Recently, Aamir Khan spoke candidly about Kiran Rao, his ex-wife, and her emotional response to his announcement that he was leaving the movie business. The acclaimed actor revealed that he seriously considered stepping away from Bollywood to spend more time with his family, prioritizing his relationship with Kiran and their children. Aamir recounted how Kiran responded to his announcement, which he didn’t fully understand at the time but now acknowledges was insightful. Kiran told him he was destined for the big screen. Leaving it behind would mean abandoning your life and the world around you.” Aamir added, “She was in tears. I tried to tell her she was mistaken, but now I see she was right.”

Aamir revealed in a recent podcast interview with Rhea Chakraborty that he started thinking about giving up movies three years ago. His desire was to spend more quality time with his loved ones, a decision that surprised and worried his family. Aamir went as far as informing his production team, including Kiran Rao, that he planned to exit the industry and encouraged them to continue without him. Reflecting on that moment, Aamir remembered Kiran’s heartfelt reaction. She expressed her concern, indicating that his decision felt like he was pulling away from them. While Aamir tried to explain his intention to focus on family life, Kiran highlighted that he might not fully comprehend the implications. She argued that by leaving the film industry, he would be giving up a crucial part of his identity since cinema is inherently a part of who he is. Moreover, she stressed that his departure would not just be from the films but also from the life they shared, effectively leaving them behind.

Aamir admitted that Kiran became very emotional during the conversation. He attempted to reassure her, insisting that she was misinterpreting his intentions. However, he later came to realize that her perspective was valid, even though he didn’t see it at the time.

Aamir also spoke about his children’s reactions to his decision, recalling that they were shocked when he first mentioned quitting films three years ago. He shared, “When I told them I was quitting films, their response was, ‘Dad, how can you leave the film industry? You’ve been so passionately involved for over 30 years. You’re probably just feeling emotional right now. You won’t be able to give it up.’”

Professionally, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starred in Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022. Despite the film’s lackluster performance at the box office, Aamir has remained active in the industry. He recently co-produced Laapataa Ladies, the critically acclaimed second film directed by Kiran Rao. Aamir is also working on his next project, Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by R.S. Prasanna, featuring Darsheel Safary and Genelia D’Souza in significant roles.

At last, a movie captures the delightful tonal qualities of Anuja Chauhan’s novels, which are so Delhi and quirky. In this particular novel, Chauhan focuses her gaze on class through a particularly classist location in Delhi, a club where members wait forever to join because they never leave—unless they are murdered.

From their roadside chaat stall, ACP Bhavani Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) and his sidekick are dragged into the upscale surroundings of the Royal Delhi Club. Is it a substitute for the Golf, Raisina, Gymkhana, or a combination of these? You make the decision. The assassination of a handsome fitness instructor unleashes a wormhole that wriggles quite appetizingly due to Bhavani’s shrewd insight into human nature and his seemingly kind gaze. 

Everybody is under suspicion. The broke ex-royal Rannvijay Singh (Sanjay Kapoor) brings leftover food home under the pretense of donating it to the needy; Shehnaaz Noorani (Karisma Kapoor), the B-grade heroine of C-grade films; the hilariously named Cookie Katoch, who is constantly inebriated and enjoys sipping tequila and beetroot while sculpting on the side (Dimple Kapadia); the immaculate Roshni Batra (Tisca Chopra), who is devoted to her son. There are other people on the list as well, people like the chubby, sniffly club manager (Deven Bhojani), who plays Tambola with a battle-like gleam in their eyes when they’re not prying into other people’s affairs.

“It’s amazing how much this club means to me,” said the speaker. This priceless statement, devoid of irony and entirely unintentional hurt, describes Bambi (Sara Ali Khan), the naughty Todi girl who is simply being Bambi and leaving a trail of lovers and a dead spouse in her wake. In contrast to the girl standing opposite him, who offers kind words to Guppi Ram (Brijendra Kala), the cat-loving old server who isn’t quite all there, and breathy kisses to childhood friend Akash, aka-Kashi Dogra (Vijay Varma), the “log” refers to “people like Bhavani,” who refuses to be put in his place because he knows exactly who he is.

The group is really good. Except for one distinctive hmmm and a penchant for adding “ji” to every name, which causes a great deal of humor: the dead guy is “Leo ji,” and Bambi becomes, of course, Bambi ji. Pankaj Tripathi as Bhavani Singh remains Pankaj Tripathi. I’m glad Karishma Kapoor is back. And for Khan to realize once more that she is a character actor. Sanjay Kapoor had a poignant experience. Verma doesn’t seem as smooth as he should, so I’m not sure about that, but it’s okay because he’s always entertaining to watch. Furthermore, the murder mystery—which also hints at blackmail and long-forgotten secrets—unfolds very nicely (unfortunately for those who recognize the murderer from reading Chauhan’s “Club You To Death”). The stunning revelation comes as a huge shock.

The film’s disjointed sections detract in some manner from it. For instance, you would have preferred that Bambi’s deceased spouse had a little more to accomplish while he was alive. A significant portion of the story revolves around an orphanage and an abandoned infant, and it could have used a little more explanation. The plot features fast recovery loops, but your eye doesn’t settle in as much as it should. Although “Murder Mubarak” is the closest any movie has come to recreating Chauhan’s world, very few manage to capture the insider-outsider difference as sharply as well as warmly. Watch it, smile, and read if you haven’t already.

The greatest hijack-based patriotic movie to ever come out of Indian cinema is Yodha. One fan remarked, “Sidharth Malhotra has given Indian cinema yet another phenomenal film like Shershaah (sic).”

Another said, “Yodha is one of Shiddhart Malhotra’s best movies and has fantastic acting from all the actors, except Disha Patani, who is really nice (sic).”

“Interval Block, Suspense, Climax, and Twist & Turn will blow your mind. #SidharthMalhotra’s performance is fantastic. The directing is excellent. The storyline is good but falls short. Disha and Rashi’s acting is passable. “Overall, #Yodha is an Excellent Film (sic),” commented a user on X (the former Twitter)

Not everyone finds it impressive

“The film was merely mediocre. It was just another ordinary Bollywood film that you may have heard about. One user who didn’t appreciate the movie said, “Don’t waste your time watching this (sic).”

“Movie was a poor decision. The acting was mediocre and the script was poorly written. Not something you should favor (sic),” said a second person.

A user expressed dissatisfaction with the movie’s climax. He stated that “becoming friends” would not work in such films, although he did not elaborate.

Yodha Movies Booking  in Advance all Over The Country 

According to Sacnilk, Yodha, which debuted on 7,097 screens nationwide, earned ₹1.33 crore in advance ticket sales. With ₹45.33 lakh, Maharashtra had the most reservations, followed by Delhi with ₹30.46 lakh.

₹22.52 lakh was recorded by Karnataka, ₹20.25 lakh by Uttar Pradesh, and ₹18.13 lakh by Gujarat. The movie cost approximately ₹55 crore to make, according to media reports.
