Bollywood singer and music composer Himesh Reshammiya’s father, Vipin Reshammiya, passed away on 18 September at the age of 87. He had been facing breathing issues for some time and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.

Vipin Reshammiya breathed his last on 18 September at 8:30 pm. His last rites were performed today (19 September) at Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai.

The Reshammiya family confirmed the sad news in a statement: “It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our father, Vipin Reshammiya, on 18 September. He was a wonderful person who brightened our lives with his presence.”

Vipin Reshammiya: A Producer and Composer

Vipin Reshammiya was both a film producer and music composer. He produced films such as The Expose (2014) and Tera Suroor (2016). He also composed music for a film titled Insaaf Ka Suraj (1990), which unfortunately never got released.

In 2021, Himesh revealed on the sets of Indian Idol that his father had composed a beautiful song, sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar, but sadly, it was never released.
