Mumbai Police on Wednesday interrogated Govinda, a veteran Bollywood actor, in the hospital regarding the shooting incident. Govinda was wounded on October 1 after being shot in the leg.

He had said that he was keeping the revolver in the cupboard when the bullet fired. Govinda’s leg has been operated and the bullet has been removed. He is admitted to Mumbai’s Criti Care Hospital.

When Juhu Police questioned him, Govinda repeated the bullet misfire. Shatrughan Sinha and director David Dhawan, who are well-known for their works in the cinema, got together to ask about the health of Govinda, a popular comedian and actor. In addition to what was said above, Govinda’s wife and nephew, Krishna, reached the Cri-Care Hospital.

He was about to leave for Kolkata to attend a program

Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha has told that he was going to Kolkata for a program. The flight was at 6 o’clock. While keeping the revolver in the cupboard, there was a misfire and the bullet hit him below the knee. He was immediately taken to Andheri Hospital. The bullet has been removed. His condition is out of danger. There is nothing to panic.

Actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha and director David Dhawan reached the hospital to inquire about Govinda’s health. Apart from this, Govinda’s nephew Krishna’s wife Kashmira Shah reached Criti Care Hospital.

At one time the fight between Kashmira and Govinda’s wife Sunita was in the headlines. The dispute between Govinda and Krishna started when in 2018 Kashmira Shah tweeted that some people dance for money. On this tweet, Sunita Ahuja replied that this tweet has been made against Govinda. After this, Govinda-Sunita ended all relations with Krishna-Kashmira.

Govinda was a part of Shiv Sena’s faction, (those led by Shinde) when he joined the party on March 28. During that time (Maharashtra) Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was also present. Govinda made a statement-“I was in politics from 2004 to 2009. It is a coincidence that suddenly I have returned to politics after 14 years. I will fulfill the faith that people have in me.

Govinda had been the candidate from the Congress party in the Mumbai North Lok Sabha constituency during the elections of 2004. He defeated Ram Naik, the BJP candidate, by a huge margin of 48,271 votes. This Bollywood actor served as an MP during 2004-2009.

When Bollywood actor Govinda (60) was shot in the leg, his wife Sunita turned into Jaipur. Sunita’s Rajasthan manager Saurabh Prajapati said- She had come to go to Khatushyam Baba on September 29. She visited the temple at around four.30 pm on September 30. He is scheduled to leave for Mumbai on October 1 at 2 pm. He got here to realize approximately the incident at around five am on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Bollywood star Govinda returned to politics by joining the ruling Shiv Sena in Mumbai, where he was accompanied by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The actor had previously defeated BJP mainstay Ram Naik to win elections from the Virar seat on a Congress ticket.

The “Raja Babu” actor entered politics in 2004 when running on a Congress party ticket, he defeated prominent BJP politician Ram Naik in the Mumbai North Lok Sabha constituency, earning him the moniker “giant killer.” Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde greeted the 60-year-old actor, said he was well-liked by all facets of society.

“I have returned to politics after a 14-year ‘canvas’ (exile),” declared Govinda upon joining the Shiv Sena. If given the opportunity, the actor stated he would work in the arts and cultural sector.

Govinda, affectionately known as Chi Chi, praised the efforts of the federal administration led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating, “We have seen the same level of progress here (in Maharashtra) in the last two years, as we have seen in the country in the last 10 years.” Our priorities will be the development of art and culture as well as the state’s aesthetic appeal.”

Govinda, who began his acting career in the 1980s, stated he never thought he would return to the same sector after serving in the political field for the first time from 2004 to 2009. He said that since Shinde was appointed chief minister, Mumbai has become more elegant and sophisticated.

“It is a divine blessing that I am joining the Shiv Sena. “I had assumed that I wouldn’t pursue politics once more,” Govinda declared upon receiving his official party induction from Eknath Shinde. Governor Govinda’s parents got along well with Balasaheb Thackeray, the founder of the Shiv Sena.

Rajya Sabha MP Milind Deora welcomed Govinda to the party, stating that he had known the seasoned Bollywood star for twenty-five years. Deora recalled that he and Govinda had battled together in the 2004 elections.
