Stree 2: Abhishek Banerjee Responds to Comparisons with Stranger Things Poster: ‘As Actors, Our Job is to Be on the Poster’

Observant fans and netizens have also pointed out the striking resemblance between the Stree 2 poster and the poster for Stranger Things Season 2. When questioned about whether the Stree 2 poster drew inspiration from Stranger Things, Abhishek Banerjee noted that his primary role is as an actor, not as a designer.
In recent interview with , Banerjee was asked about the uncanny similarities between the promotional posters for Stree 2 and Stranger Things Season 2. Responding to the query, Abhishek said, “I don’t know. I have no idea. How the creators think about marketing strategies and poster designs is beyond me.”
He further explained, “We are actors. Our job is to appear on the poster, not to create it.”
Following the release of Stree 2, social media was abuzz with observations about the resemblance between the posters of Stree 2 and Stranger Things.
