Sonam Kapoor confirms her second pregnancy: Shares stylish photo with baby bump, captions it “Mother”
Sonam Kapoor is expecting her second child. The actress announced the news of her second pregnancy on Instagram. She shared several photos of herself with her baby bump on Instagram, captioning it “Mother.”
For the special occasion, Sonam wore an outfit by renowned designer Margaretha Ley (Escada). The actress’s hot-pink woolen padded suit is inspired by Princess Diana, and she looks quite stylish.
Celebrities and fans are now showering her with well-wishes on her post. Priyanka Chopra congratulated the actress. Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote two hearts with the words “Sonam and Anand.”
Recently, expecting mothers Patralekhaa and Parineeti Chopra also congratulated Sonam in unique ways.
Sonam’s husband, Anand Ahuja, also shared a fun reaction to the post. He writes in the comment, “Double trouble.”
It’s worth noting that Sonam and her businessman husband, Anand Ahuja, are expecting their second child after seven years of marriage. Four years after their wedding, Sonam gave birth to their son, Vayu. Sonam lives primarily in London with her husband, Anand, and son, Vayu.
Vayu, the couple’s son, has been shielded from the press and photographers. The actress occasionally shares photos of her maternity journey and son Vayu. However, Vayu’s face is not revealed in those photos.
Speaking of Sonam and Anand’s relationship, Sonam publicly acknowledged her relationship with Anand Ahuja in 2016, on her father, Anil Kapoor’s, 60th birthday.
After a long period of dating, the actress married Anand Ahuja in 2018. Following their wedding, the couple hosted a grand reception for industry friends.
Talking about the actress’s work front, she was last seen in the 2023 film ‘Blind’.
