At the Stree 2 success party, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kriti Sanon, and Shraddha Kapoor stole the spotlight with their energetic dance moves, while Vijay Varma’s lively whistling added to the excitement.
The celebration for Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy blockbuster Stree 2 was a vibrant affair, as seen in the latest photos and videos. In one of the clips, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kriti Sanon, and Shraddha Kapoor electrified the dance floor with their dynamic performances at the bash. Directed by Kaushik, Stree 2 has reached a significant milestone, raking in over Rs 200 crore within just five days of its release.
To commemorate the film’s outstanding box office performance and record-breaking achievements, the Stree 2 team organized a lively celebration. A newly surfaced video features Tamannaah Bhatia, Kriti Sanon, and Shraddha Kapoor dancing to the track Aaj Ki Raat, with Tamannaah leading the signature step and the others joining in. Sunny Kaushal is also spotted in the video, joining in the fun.
In another clip, Tamannaah Bhatia, elegantly dressed in a black outfit, is seen grooving, while her boyfriend, actor Vijay Varma, cheers her on with enthusiastic whistles. The video also captures a moment where Shraddha Kapoor playfully bows to honor Tamannaah, followed by a warm hug between the two actresses. The clips also show director Amar Kaushik, actor Abhishek Banerjee, and Radhika Madan eagerly cheering on Tamannaah and the other actresses. Vijay Varma later joins the group on the dance floor, adding to the joyous atmosphere.
Earlier, a series of photos shared by stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania featured Dinesh Vijan, the producer of Stree 2 and head of Maddock Films, enjoying the festivities. A cake bearing the words “Wo stree hai, wo kuchh bhi kar sakti hai” (She’s Stree, she can do everything) was also part of the celebration.
Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, Stree 2 has emerged as a crowd favorite, outshining its competitors Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, which were also released on August 15. The movie has made Rs 228 crore at the domestic box office in just five days, significantly more than the other two movies combined.
Stree 2 picks up where Amar Kaushik’s 2018 hit Stree left off, expanding the horror-comedy universe created by Dinesh Vijan. Maddock Films’ Bhediya and Munjya, an earlier sleeper hit, are also part of same cinematic universe. The sequel features Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee and follows a group of friends led by Rajkummar Rao’s character Vicky, a tailor. Their town, Chanderi, faces a new threat from the villain Sarkata, prompting them to seek Stree’s help to defeat him.
