Actress Shefali Jariwala passed away last week. Recently, in an interview, it was told that Shefali had taken a Vitamin C IV drip on that day, i.e., the day of her death.
In an interview to Vicky Lalwani, Pooja Ghai said, “Look, I think it is not right to comment on such a personal thing, but I live in Dubai and it is good that now I am not an actress so I do not need it, but I think everyone takes it and maybe everyone needs it. It is very common. Even if you look at the streets here in Dubai, Vitamin C drip is given in many clinics and salons. This is a very common practice that people do.” Pooja further said, “And I think everyone has their own decision. She was in a profession where she always had to look her best, and she was really the best. She looked very beautiful. When she came home for the last time, my heart broke after seeing her. She was so beautiful. This is a part of everyone’s life, and it is not unsafe. I don’t think it is unsafe. It was just a bad time.”
Pooja- Taking Vitamin C is very normal
That day, she took a drip, the Vitamin C one, but like I said, it is a very normal thing to take Vitamin C. We all take Vitamin C, right? After COVID, people have started taking it more regularly. I also take Vitamin C. Some people take tablets and some take them through IV drip.
When asked when Shefali took the drip, Puja said, “I don’t know exactly how many minutes or hours ago she took it. I just know that she took it that day because when I was standing there, the police called the man who gave her the drip to find out what medicine he gave her. Only then did we come to know that she took an IV drip that day.”
The cops called the person who administered the drip.
Was that man present when the death happened? To this question, Puja said, “No, he was not there at that time, but when we were there, the police called him because the helper said that she took an IV drip, so the police immediately called him and asked him. He brought his entire kit and showed it to the police. He was not there when Shefali died. I don’t know if he was there at that time or not, but when Parag came home, there was no one there, only the helper and Parag.”
When asked, was it just Vitamin C or did it also contain Glutathione? So Pooja said that I don’t know. The police might have these details. Because after this, the police closed the door and started questioning.
