
Sikandar started getting removed from theatres in just 3 days: Many shows were canceled due to tickets not being sold, replaced by films like Mohanlal’s L2: Empuran and Diplomat
Salman Khan’s Sikandar was released on 30th March. The film was in a buzz before its release; however, due to the story and plot, this film failed to impress the audience. This is the reason why many shows of the film are being canceled. In many theatres, Mohanlal’s film L2: Empuran is now being shown in place of Sikandar.
According to a recent Bollywood Hungama report, Sikandar has been removed from many theatres in Surat, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, and Indore.
In Mumbai’s Kandivali’s Inox Raghuleela, the 5:30 pm show of Sikandar has now been replaced by the film Umbaro.
From 1st April, the 9:30 pm show of Sikandar has also been removed, and All the Best Pandya has been shown.
The 9:30 and 5:30 shows at Cinepolis Seawood and PVR Orion Mall have been replaced by Mohanlal’s film L2: Ampuran.
Sikandar has replaced John Abraham’s film Diplomat at 8 pm in South Mumbai’s Inox Nariman Point and at 8:30 pm in Metro Inox.
Sikandar had an opening collection of 26 crores
The film Sikandar, which was released on March 30, had an opening collection of 26 crores. The film got the benefit of being released on Sunday. The next day, on the occasion of Eid, the film’s earnings saw a jump. The film earned 29 crores on the second day and 19.5 crores on the third day. The total film collection has reached 74.5 crores.
Let us tell you that the film Sikandar has been directed by AR Murugadoss, who has directed a great film like Ghajini. Rashmika Mandana is seen opposite Salman Khan in the film. Sharman Joshi, Kajal Agarwal, Satyaraj, and Prateek Babbar are also playing important roles in the film.
The story of the film is based on Rajkot’s king Sanjay, who incurs a huge enmity by teaching a lesson to the minister’s son. In this battle of revenge, Sanjay loses his wife Sainshree.
