Salman Khan and Sonali Bendre’s “Hum Saath Saath Hain” reunion: “Prem Meets Preeti”

The event, which was organized to promote eco-friendly Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations, saw the two stars from the 1999 film Hum Saath Saath Hain catching up. In a viral video, Sonali Bendre is seen warmly hugging Salman Khan. For this reunion, Salman opted for a casual look in a t-shirt and jeans, while Sonali looked elegant in a salwar suit. The two exchanged pleasantries, and a paparazzo shared the video on Instagram, where fans expressed their love for the beloved characters Prem and Preeti.
Salman Khan animated the audience at the same event by dancing to the song “Jalwa” from his film Wanted.. The audience erupted in applause as Salman performed the iconic hook step, even blowing kisses to his fans. A paparazzo captured and shared this lively moment on Instagram.
In other news, Salman Khan’s classic film Maine Pyar Kiya was re-released in theaters on August 23. Reflecting on his early career, Salman once recalled a poignant moment during the filming of the song “Kabootar Ja Ja Ja.” He said, “I was about 18 years old, and there was a truly memorable moment during the shoot for ‘Kabootar Ja Ja Ja’ when I realized this was the role meant for me. During various narrations, I would imagine Jackie Shroff or Anil Kapoor in those roles, but I never truly saw myself in big films. That moment made me feel for the first time, ‘Yes, I can do this,’ and it brought tears to my eyes.”
