Saurabh Murder Case Meerut Update Today:
The accused revealed to the police that they had planned to kill Saurabh in November 2024. Both wanted to live together after getting rid of him.
New shocking revelations have emerged in the Saurabh murder case in Meerut. Investigations have now revealed that Saurabh’s wife, Muskan, and her lover, Sahil Shukla, executed the crime with meticulous planning. Disturbing details came to light on Wednesday during the police interrogation of the accused.
After committing the murder, Sahil kept the severed head and hands in his room at home for 24 hours and slept there. Meanwhile, Saurabh’s torso remained inside the bed box in Muskan’s room, and she slept on the same bed.
The accused told the police that they had planned Saurabh’s murder in November 2024. Both of them wanted to live together after eliminating him. As part of their preparation, they went from village to village to find locations where dead animals were buried, intending to dispose of Saurabh’s body there so that no one would discover it.
Bought a Razor and Poly Bag for ₹300
On February 22, 2025, Muskan visited a doctor at Sharda Road and obtained a prescription for sleeping pills, falsely claiming to be suffering from depression. Since sleeping pills are not available without a prescription, she forged additional salts of sleeping pills onto the prescription after researching them on Google. Later, she and her lover went to Khairnagar, where they purchased sleeping pills and other intoxicants. They also bought two meat-cutting knives worth ₹800, along with a razor and a poly bag for ₹300 from Sharda Road.
On March 3, Saurabh brought gourd kofta curry from his mother Renu’s house. He asked Muskan to heat it, and she mixed sleeping pills and other intoxicants into the food. After eating, Saurabh went to sleep.
Muskan Called Her Lover After Saurabh Fell Asleep
Once Saurabh was asleep, Muskan called her lover, Sahil, and invited him over. When Sahil arrived, both of them together stabbed Saurabh to death. They then carried the body to the bathroom, where they first severed his neck using a razor. After that, they cut off his hands at the wrists. Their initial plan was to dismember the entire body, place the pieces in poly bags, and dispose of them at different locations. They placed Saurabh’s torso inside a poly bag and hid it in the box of the double bed.
Sahil Took the Severed Head and Wrists in a Bag
Sahil placed the severed head and hands in another bag and took them to his house. On March 4, he kept them in a room at his home but was unable to dispose of them. Saurabh’s head and hands remained at Sahil’s house for 24 hours. On March 5, he bought a drum from Ghantaghar and placed the torso, which was still inside the poly bag, inside it. Later, Sahil also brought the head and hands and placed them in the same drum. He then mixed cement and dust, poured it over the body parts, and sealed the drum.
Sleeping Pills Were Also Mixed in Alcohol
SP City Ayush Vikram Singh stated that, days before the murder, Muskan had also mixed sleeping pills into Saurabh’s alcohol bottle, intending to kill him while he was intoxicated. However, Saurabh did not consume alcohol during that period. As a result, they resorted to mixing sleeping pills into his food instead.
Divorce Was Considered in 2021
In 2021, their relationship had deteriorated to the point where divorce was considered. Their landlord had caught Muskan and Sahil in a compromising situation and reported it to Saurabh over the phone. This led to Saurabh scolding Muskan and even preparing divorce papers. However, the couple later decided not to separate, considering their daughter’s future.
Despite this, Muskan continued her affair with Sahil. When Saurabh was home, she avoided Sahil, but the moment he left, she resumed meeting him. This time, Sahil had returned to Meerut from London after two years.
