Ranveer Singh was preparing for the release of his film ‘Dhurandhar,’ but he is facing a lot of criticism for mocking ‘Kantara’ actor Rishabh Shetty. Now, a video is going viral in which Rishabh repeatedly tries to stop him, but Ranveer continues to make fun of him.

Rishabh Shetty’s ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ was released this year. It is a prequel to ‘Kantara,’ which is releasing in 2022. In the climax scene, Chamunda Devi enters Rishabh. His acting in this scene was so mesmerizing that it sent shivers down your spine.

Ranveer mocked and insulted him.

But Ranveer mocked Rishabh during the closing ceremony of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. He mimicked him with wide eyes and tongue out. Furthermore, Ranveer said, “I saw this film in the theater, and your performance was amazing, Rishabh. Especially when the female ghost enters you.”

Rishabh stopped Ranveer from doing so.

When Ranveer comes down from the stage and approaches Rishabh Shetty, he continues to mock him with similar imitations. However, Rishabh repeatedly stops him, but he ignores him.

Complaint filed against Ranveer

Now, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has filed an official complaint against Ranveer, alleging that he has insulted Chamunda Devi. He referred to Chamundi Devi, revered by the Kotitulu community, as a “female ghost.” They have demanded an apology from Ranveer Singh.
