A fight was reported outside actress Raveena Tandon’s house when her driver parked the car on the spot.
Mumbai police on Sunday clarified that a false complaint was filed against actress Raveena Tandon at the Khar police station alleging drunken driving, reckless driving and assault.
Tandon shared the screenshot on ‘Viral Bhayani’ with ‘X’ saying that the complainant filed a false complaint about the incident and after checking the CCTV footage, it was found that Raveena’s car did not hit anyone and she was not drunk.
The post said Zone 9 Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajtilak Roshan, speaking to a Mumbai-based daily, said the complaint was false.
According to police, the complainant made a false complaint in the alleged video.

The post said Zone 9 Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajtilak Roshan, speaking to a Mumbai-based daily, said the complaint was false.
“The complainant made a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the CCTV footage of the entire society and found that the actor’s driver overturned the car outside the society’s road when this family was crossing the same road. The family stopped the car and told the driver that he should check if there are people behind the car before returning and an argument started between them,” the DCP said while talking to the daily.

In another screenshot shared by Raveena in the same post, the online portal was quoted as saying that both parties denied the complaint.
“Tandoni’s driver tried to reverse the car to park it and the three family members felt that they were going to be hit. After an argument, both parties left and the police later arrived and questioned Tandon’s employees. The other party was also named. to the police station denied filing a complaint,” it said. The post mentioned that the police statement came after a video of the incident went viral on social media, in which Raveena Tandon asks people to calm down and is heard saying “don’t hit me”.
A video of the incident is doing rounds on social media platforms and Raveena Tandon is seen being pushed by people and trying to overpower her driver.
