Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan live in an opulent multi-story apartment in Bandra (West), Mumbai, within the elite Satguru Sharan building. The lavish Rs 48-crore residence reflects their exquisite taste and passion for grandeur.
A Midnight Scare
On January 16, at about 2 a.m., an intruder entered their home. The victim described the event as terrifying. Saif, who is 54 years old, fought back for a female employee and received neck, spine, and hand injuries in the process. The assailant is said to have entered through a neighbor’s adjacent building.
Treatment and Recovery
Saif was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, which is just two kilometers away. Doctors stabilized his condition there. He is now recovering under observation, and doctors have confirmed that he is out of danger.
Inside Satguru Sharan
The Khans have a 3,000-square-foot home on four floors that houses 3 BHK flats on each of the floors with a private balcony and a swimming pool. Bought in 2013, it is one of the luxury deals in Bandra’s realty market since its per-square-foot price way surpasses the area’s average.
Earlier, they were staying at Fortune Heights, another high-end Bandra apartment, before settling into Satguru Sharan. Their new home is an old-world charm with a touch of royal elegance, quintessentially the couple’s taste.
A Global Real Estate Portfolio
In addition to their Mumbai home, the couple owns the heritage Pataudi Palace, other homes in Mumbai, and a breathtakingly beautiful chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland, where the couple spends a lot of its winters.
The family is now back to focusing on recovering, as well as tightening security measures, after this frightening incident when they have just returned from Gstaad recently. This scare notwithstanding, their home remains a symbol of elegance and grandeur.
