Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, who recently tied the knot, celebrated their first Ganpati Visarjan together by dancing joyfully to the rhythmic beats of the dhol. The couple, along with their family and friends, had a great time as they bid farewell to Lord Ganesha.
On September 7, the Ambani family welcomed Ganpati Bappa with grand celebrations at their residence, Antilia, in Mumbai. Anant and Radhika, who recently got married, performed their first aarti together as husband and wife. The following day, they joyfully immersed the Ganpati idol, marking the end of the celebrations. A video circulating online captures the newlyweds dancing with excitement during the Visarjan ceremony, as dhol beats fill the air.
On the evening of September 8, Nita Ambani, accompanied by her children Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, sat atop a beautifully decorated truck as they transported the Ganpati idol for immersion. As they made their way to the immersion site, Radhika, the newest member of the Ambani family, distributed sweets to people along the route. In the now-viral video, both Anant and Radhika can be seen dancing with pure joy during the procession.
For the auspicious occasion, Radhika opted for a stylish blue silk kurta with gold embroidery, while Anant donned a vibrant orange kurta-pajama set paired with a matching waistcoat. The couple looked thrilled, and their bright smiles reflected the fun they had during the celebration.
The Ganesh puja at the Ambani residence also saw a star-studded guest list from Bollywood. Among the attendees were Salman Khan, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, who made their first public appearance post their luxurious summer vacation. Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, the Shershaah couple, were also spotted at the event. Junaid Khan and Azad Khan, Aamir Khan’s sons, came.
The celebration was graced by several other celebrities, all dressed in their finest traditional attire. Arjun Kapoor wore a maroon kurta-dhoti set, while Sonam Kapoor Ahuja looked stunning in an all-red outfit with aalta adorning her hands and feet. Jackie Shroff, along with his family, including Tiger Shroff, was also present. Other notable stars like Suniel Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, and Veer Pahariya joined in on the festive occasion.
