During the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2024 held on Thursday, 26th September, Navya Naveli Nanda expressed her experiences, and difficulties managing online criticism. In a session titled ‘Beyond the Legacy: Gen Z for a Just and Equal India’, Navya has openly reflected on how she copes with social media pressures while maintaining both her studies and her startup business.
Navya acknowledged the pros of social media by stating “Social media has been a huge platform because it is giving a voice to people who are not very popular and have a small number of followers.” She also stated that this tool could become a real game-changer if people used it better.

Navya Naveli Nanda spoke about her war and adversities with online trolls. In a session titled ‘Beyond the Legacy: Gen Z for a Just and Equal India’, Navya frankly defined how she manages the needless clutters of social media whilst being a student and going for walks as a begin-up.
She expressed her gratitude as well as her excitement for being admitted to the celebrated IIM Ahmedabad and at the equal time highlighted the necessity of schooling, pronouncing, “India has a number of the quality establishments within the global, and being a part of IIM Ahmedabad is really damn brilliant. Navya acknowledged it with grace when asked about the criticism she faced due to her privileged background. “I accept that I come from a very different lived reality. People will have something to say about that,” she said. However, she remains focused on her goals, ignoring negative comments and using them as motivation to improve herself.
Navya concluded by highlighting the sacrifices she makes for her academic and professional journey. While most people her age would be enjoying weekends out, Navya can often be found studying or attending classes on Saturday nights.
With her strong work ethic and focus on self-improvement, Navya Naveli Nanda continues to inspire many young individuals across the nation.
