Question- Pooja, you have become an investigative journalist in the film, how much research did you do for this?
Answer- I have seen many films made on the subject of journalism. I understand how journalists work. My character in the film has been kept for a special purpose.
After watching this film, my respect has increased, especially for investigative journalists. How they do their work by risking their lives and dealing with people should be appreciated.
Question- How was it working with a secure, talented, and good-looking actor like Shahid, how was the chemistry?
Answer- How was our chemistry, you guys will tell us, right? The chemistry is not seen by us but by the audience. Our focus is only on how our scenes can impress the audience. Shahid dances very well and is also very fun-loving. He also helps a lot in acting. It was a lot of fun working with him.
Question- What was the most beautiful and challenging thing while making the film?
Answer- The most beautiful thing was that we shot in areas like Mazgaon and Dongri of Mumbai, where my father was born. Shooting in that area was like a personal moment for me.
As far as challenges are concerned, some scenes require a lot of hard work to shoot. There were some scenes in which confusion had to be created as well as emotions had to be shown. While shooting these scenes, many things were going on in my mind.
However, the film’s director Roshan Andrews sir helped me a lot in this. He instructed that he should see Diya (the character’s name) on the screen and not Pooja.
