Speaking at the Chatham House event, Jaishankar said that Article 370 was removed for peace in the Kashmir Valley. After this, the country is now waiting for the return of the part stolen from Kashmir. It was stolen by Pakistan. He said that the issue would be completely resolved by evacuating Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Jaishankar said that most of the issues of Kashmir have been resolved. Abolishing Article 370 was the first step. Restoring development and social justice in Kashmir was the second step, and holding elections in the state was the third step. Now, the matter is only about PoK. After taking it back, the Kashmir issue will be resolved forever.
