India’s Got Latent’ has once again been surrounded by controversies. Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahabadia, Apoorva Makhija, and Ashish Chanchlani were recently seen together in the show. Now an FIR has been registered against the organizers of the show.
Once again the show ‘India’s Got Latent’ is in controversy. Influencer Samay Raina directs the show. The last episode had guest appearances by Ranveer Allahabadia, Apoorva Makhija, and Ashish Chanchlani along with Samay Raina. Ranveer and Apoorva asked a contestant such a filthy question that it created a huge ruckus. An FIR has been lodged against the organizers regarding this. Meanwhile, a statement by CM Devendra Fadnavis has also come out on the issue. Netizens were furious against Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahabadia, Apoorva Makhija, and Ashish Chanchlani. Since that episode aired, people have been screaming for action to be taken. Along with that, a demand was also made from the government that stern action should be taken against those spreading obscenity in the name of dark comedy. Now the police have received a complaint against Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahabadia, among others.
After which the police registered an FIR against the organizers of ‘India’s Got Latent’. However, the police statement on this has not come out yet.
CM Devendra Fadnavis also gave a statement
Seeing the growing controversy on this matter, the CM of Maharashtra said, ‘I have also come to know about this, although I have not seen it.’ I have come to know that things have been run in an obscene manner, which is wrong. Freedom of speech is for everyone but our freedom ends when we harm someone else’s freedom. This is not right. Everyone has limits, we have also set obscenity rules. If anyone crosses him, action will be taken against him.’
What did he say that caused so much controversy?
What happened was that during the show, Ranveer asked a contestant, ‘Would you like to watch your parents having sex all your life? Or would you join them? Choose one of these.’ Ranveer Allahabadia, who is famous as a YouTuber, was trolled a lot after his controversial statement on parents.
There was an uproar earlier as well.
This is not the first time that Samay Raina’s show has come under controversy like this. A case had been registered against him earlier as well. Just last week, he was in deep trouble for commenting on dog meat against a contestant from Arunachal Pradesh.
