Smriti Mandhana: India’s legendary women’s cricketer Smriti Mandhana has now broken her silence regarding the cancellation of her wedding with Palash Muchhal.
Mandhana issued a statement on social media, confirming the cancellation.
“She posted on social media announcing that the wedding has been called off. Mandhana and Palash were supposed to get married on November 23, but the ceremony was halted due to Mandhana’s father’s health condition.”was revealed, leading to the decision to cancel the wedding. Now, 15 days later, on December 7th, Mandhana shared a story on Instagram, acknowledging the cancellation.

Mandhana’s post was, “There has been a lot of speculation about my life over the past few weeks, and I feel it’s important for me to speak out at this time. I’m a very private person and I’d like to keep it that way, but I want to clarify that the wedding has been cancelled.”
Indian women’s vice-captain Mandhana further wrote in her post, “I would like to put this matter to rest here, and I urge you all to do the same. I request you to respect the privacy of both families at this time and allow us to move forward at our own pace. I believe there’s a greater purpose behind all of us, and for me, that has always been representing my country at the highest level. I hope to continue playing for India and winning trophies for as long as I can, and that will always be my focus. Thank you all for your support. It’s time to move on.”
Mandhana did not elaborate on the reason for the cancellation of the wedding in her statement.
While the reason for the cancellation is still unclear, Smriti and Palash have now separated. Mandhana stated that her sole focus is now on representing her country and playing cricket.
