For nearly two years, fervent fans awaited news of Sachiv ji’s fate in the hilariously chaotic village of Phulera. After its 2020 release, Panchayat quickly rose to the top of the Indian television ratings on Amazon Prime Video. Are You Excited For Panchayat Season 3.

With a tease of what’s to come, the ‘Prime Video Presents’ event in March 2024 generated excitement for Season 3.  However, the release date remained as enigmatic as Sachiv ji’s future. Leveraging the show’s iconic lauki, Amazon Prime Video orchestrated a nationwide treasure hunt for the release date, engaging fans across platforms and cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Indore, and Jaipur.

After an overwhelming response, the release date, 28 May 2024, was revealed. Prime Video further solidified the date’s recall through strategic billboard placements. Creator Kusha Kapila added her spin, capturing Sachiv ji’s infamous rants. Meanwhile, Phulera’s sarpanch and Pradhan ji embarked on a quest to find Sachiv ji’s successor, with notable figures like Ritesh Deshmukh and Masaba Gupta throwing their hats in the ring.

The Verge has reported that Amazon intends to launch three new ad styles on Prime Video to lure viewers in with in-stream product purchases as excitement for Season 3 grows. Amazon has a variety of Prime plans in India, ranging from Rs 299 per month to Rs 1499 per year.
