Mohsin Khan Remembers His Nervousness Before Shah Rukh Khan on YRKKH Sets; Reveals How SRK Influenced His Decision Not to Quit Acting
In a recent interview, Mohsin Khan shared an in-depth look at his journey, reflecting on personal challenges, career milestones, and memorable moments. As part of the conversation, a nostalgic photograph of Mohsin with Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) was revisited, bringing back a flood of memories for the actor.
Remembering the day the famous Bollywood actor stopped by the set, Mohsin acknowledged he was really anxious. He praised the (Pathaan) star for his impeccable ability to bring the script to life exactly as written. Mohsin recounted, “We were all so anxious because Shah Rukh Khan was coming, and we were in the middle of shooting. No one even suggested rehearsing the scene, and everyone was just standing there quietly. Then, Shah Rukh himself asked, ‘Don’t we do script readings here?’ We quickly replied that we do, and then we all sat down to read the scene together.”
Offering more details, the (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) actor expressed his awe at how effortlessly Shah Rukh Khan delivered his lines without a single stumble during the reading. When asked if he felt nervous around the Bollywood superstar, the (Jab Mila Tu) actor confessed, “Extremely nervous.”
During the same conversation, Mohsin fondly remembered the first time he saw SRK, who was greeting his fans outside his home, Mannat, as a massive crowd gathered. Mohsin revealed that he made a silent prayer, vowing that if the (Raees) star could somehow help him launch his acting career, he would never give up on it. Remarkably, that wish came true when Shah Rukh Khan introduced him to the audience at an award ceremony, marking the launch of the show (Dream Girl—Ek Ladki Deewani Si).
