Chardham Yatra from 30 April: This time, there is no entry for reel makers, VIPs will not be able to have darshan even after paying money
This time there is a preparation to stop the entry of video reel makers and YouTubers in the Chardham Yatra starting from 30 April in Uttarakhand. Kedarnath-Badrinath Panda Samaj has decided that they will not be allowed to enter the temple premises this time. If anyone is found doing this, he will be returned without darshan. The administration has also been informed about this.
Kedarnath Sabha President Rajkumar Tiwari told Bhaskar that last year there was a lot of chaos due to the reel makers. The noise of drums in Kedarnath Dham, 12 thousand feet above sea level, was made only to make reels.
After the start of the Yatra, this noise echoed in the entire Shivalik mountain range for 10 to 12 days. This noise is not good for the nature here. Therefore, this time we will not even allow the camera to be turned on.
Similarly, the system of VIP darshan by paying money will also be closed at the Dhams. Treasurer of Panda Panchayat of Badrinath Dham, Ashok Todaria has said that taking money for darshan is against the dignity of God.
This year, the Char Dham Yatra will start on 30 April (Akshay Tritiya). On this day, the doors of Maa Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will be opened first. After this, the doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on 2 May.
Finally, on 4 May, the doors of Lord Badrinath Dham will be opened for the devotees with due rituals. With this, the Char Dham Yatra will start completely.
This time, there will be 10 holding areas, where there will be facilities like hotels
Holding places are being made at 10 places to stop the pilgrims in bad weather and adverse conditions during the Char Dham Yatra. These places will be Haridwar, Rishikesh, Byasi, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, Sonprayag, Harbatpur, Vikasnagar, Barkot, and Bhatwadi. There will be emergency arrangements for water, toilets, beds for spending the night, medicines, and food.
The entire Yatra route has been divided into sectors of 10 km each. There will be 6 policemen in each sector. They will be deployed on bikes so that the pilgrims can get immediate help in times of trouble.
9 lakh registrations so far, most for Kedarnath Dham…
This time 9 lakh devotees have registered for the Yatra in the last 6 days. A maximum of 2.75 lakh devotees have registered for Kedarnath Dham. Then 2.24 lakh devotees will come to visit Badrinath, 1.34 lakh for Yamunotri, 1.38 lakh for Gangotri and 8 thousand devotees will come to visit Hemkund Sahib.
Offline registration will start when the Yatra starts
Apart from the website, the Tourism Development Council will also issue mobile numbers, WhatsApp, and toll-free numbers for registration. You can register yourself by calling this number. After the Yatra starts, the offline registration process will also start in Haridwar and Rishikesh.
Devotees who cannot register online will be able to go on the Yatra by registering offline. A token system will also be implemented for the pilgrims to visit all four Dhams.
Special things related to the four Dhams
Badrinath Dham- Badrinath Dham is a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This Nar-Narayan is built between two mountains. This area is called Badrivan. The priest of this temple is called Rawal. Rawal is from the family of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. Only Nambudiri priests of Kerala worship here.
Kedarnath Dham- In ancient times, Nar-Narayan, the incarnation of Vishnu ji, had made a Parthiv Shivling and worshipped here in Badrivan. Pleased with the devotion of Nar-Narayan, Lord Shiva appeared. When Lord Shiva asked Nar-Narayan to ask for a boon, they asked for a boon that they should always live in this area. While granting the boon, Lord Shiva said that from now on they will live here and this area will be known as Kedar region. After this, Lord Shiva merged into the Shivling located here in the form of Jyoti.
Gangotri – This is the temple of the river Ganga. The origin of the river Ganga is Gomukh and Goddess Ganga is worshipped in Gangotri. Near Gangotri is the place where King Bhagirath did penance to bring Goddess Ganga to earth.

It is said about the Yamunotri temple that Maharaja Pratap Shah of Tehri Garhwal built the temple of Goddess Yamuna. Later the temple was rebuilt by Maharani Guleria of Jaipur. The actual source of the Yamuna River is a lake of ice and glacier (Champasar glacier).
