
Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel has been fined Rs 12 lakh for maintaining a slow over rate. He received a penalty for the slow over-rate during the match between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi on Sunday.
The BCCI announced that Patel’s team has committed its first infraction of the season, as outlined in Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Therefore, Patel was fined Rs 12 lakh.

In the IPL 2025 season, different captains have been fined for slow overs for the sixth time. Rajasthan Royals have been fined twice, Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Delhi Capitals have been fined once each.
