Three out of four teasers for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ have been leaked online even before their official launch.
This has caused a stir on social media, as these viral video clips show glimpses of Captain America, Thor, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.
The first glimpse of Marvel Studios’ biggest upcoming film, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, was supposed to be released on December 19th. To surprise the fans, the studio planned to release not one, but four teasers. But unfortunately, three out of these four teasers have been leaked online before the official launch. Since then, there has been a lot of buzz on social media, as these three alleged teasers show glimpses of Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, and Chris Hemsworth in the role of Thor.
According to online reports so far, Marvel Studios planned to release the ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ teasers in theaters along with James Cameron’s film ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’. The teasers were also to be released on YouTube at 7 PM on December 19th. Not only that, but there was also news that fans would get not one, but four teasers. But the unfortunate thing is that three out of these four teasers have been leaked online.
A new teaser was to be shown every week with ‘Avatar 3’
While the teaser leak has created a stir among fans, Marvel Studios is trying to remove those videos. Marvel had reportedly planned a massive marketing campaign for the teaser release, with four different teaser trailers scheduled to be shown exclusively in theaters alongside ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’. Starting December 19th, a new teaser trailer was supposed to be shown each week during ‘Avatar 3’ screenings.

However, despite the studio’s best efforts, three of the four teasers have leaked online and are being widely shared. The leaked teaser trailer 1 for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ shows Chris Evans returning as Captain America, reprising his role as Steve Rogers. Interestingly, this comes after Chris repeatedly stated that he was not part of the film. But the viral clip shows Chris taking off his stealth suit and appearing as a father. The viral clip shows Steve going home and holding his child in his arms. It is believed to be Steve Rogers’ son, James Rogers.
A glimpse of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom
Another alleged leaked teaser shows a glimpse of Robert Downey Jr., who played Iron Man, later appearing as Doctor Doom, holding a mask in his hand, while his face bears burn marks from the intense radiation exposure in ‘Infinity War’. This marks Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the MCU, which has Marvel fans incredibly excited. The third viral teaser clip shows Chris Hemsworth as the superhero ‘Thor’.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will have an emotional angle
Following these teaser leaks on social media, fans are overjoyed. Users claim that the makers and Chris Evans deliberately kept this surprise a secret. According to a popular user, Daniel RPK, the way Steve Rogers is shown with his son in the teaser clearly indicates that the film will also have an emotional angle this time. It is reported that the story of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is set in the timeline after ‘Avengers: Endgame’. This also aligns with the claim that Marvel is focusing on bringing back its original lead characters after the mixed reactions to the new ones.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ officially stars Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and Robert Downey Jr. The film also features Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Lewis Pullman. It also brings together ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn. Additionally, ‘X-Men Legends’ Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, and Channing Tatum will also appear in the film.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Release Date
Directed by the Russo Brothers and written by Stephen McFeely, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is scheduled to release in theaters on December 18, 2026. ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ will follow a year later on December 17, 2027.
