Arijit Singh Apologizes to Female Fan During UK Concert After Security Incident: ‘I Am Really Sorry, I Wish…’
A recent video from Arijit Singh’s UK concert has been circulating on social media, capturing the moment the singer apologized to a female fan after a security guard restrained her by the neck. Arijit Singh is currently on tour in the UK, and the incident occurred when a woman attempted to approach the stage during his performance. As security intervened, the fan explained that Arijit had signaled for her to come closer. Witnessing the situation, Arijit expressed his discomfort and said, “I am really sorry, ma’am.I wish I could have shielded you.”
The security guard still had her by the neck in spite of his assistance. Reacting to this, Arijit addressed the crowd, saying, “It’s not fair to grab someone like that,” while pointing towards the woman’s neck.He then asked everyone to be seated and said, “I really apologize, ma’am,” to the fan once more. Although I would have liked to, I was unable to keep you safe. Please sit down.”
The crowd erupted in cheers as he resumed his performance. In another clip from his UK tour, a fan placed food on the stage while Arijit was performing the title track from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Upon noticing it, Arijit gently picked up the food and handed it to his security team, apologizing to the fan and saying, “I am sorry, this is my temple. You cannot place food here.”
