Another complaint has been lodged against director Ram Gopal Varma, who has been in the news more for his controversial remarks than his movies. National Praja Congress President and lawyer in the High Court, Meda Srinivas, recently lodged a complaint against him for making anti-Hindu comments and stated that legal action will be initiated soon.
In this complaint lodged at Andhra Pradesh’s Three Town Police Station, Meda Srinivas has also enclosed a copy of Ram Gopal Varma’s objectionable remarks as evidence. Ram Gopal Varma has made many anti-Hindu comments over the past few days.
Meda Srinivas has claimed that he has made objectionable remarks on the sacred Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the gods. He attempted to provoke a regional conflict between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and also made comments that offended the self-respect of Indian soldiers.
With the complaint filed at the Three Town Police Station, Meda Srinivas has stated that action be taken against him under sections 153 A, 153 B, 504, 506, 150-B of the IPC and the IT Act 2000.
Let us inform you that Ram Gopal Varma is more in the news because of his remarks and complaints than movies. A while ago, he had made objectionable comments on President Draupadi Murmu, for which multiple complaints were made against him.
On November 11, 2024, he was accused of defaming Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s dignity.
It was claimed that the director had used the social networking site in the wrong way to defame Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh, daughter-in-law Brahmani, and other TDP leaders.
