Tuesday night’s premiere of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar had an impressive cast of celebrities. Alia Bhatt, who previously collaborated with the director on the critically acclaimed and popular Gangubai Kathiawadi, went to the film’s premiere accompanied by her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and mother-in-law Soni Razdan. It produced a stunning red carpet moment. Following her family’s arrival, the actress also struck a solo photo shoot for the photographers. Alia Bhatt’s debut collaboration with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was Gangubai Kathiawadi.
The actress and director were set to collaborate on the movie Inshallah, which also starred Salman Khan. But the project was abandoned.
