According to reports by the *Hindustan Times*, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri and producer Bhushan Kumar are collaborating to produce a film based on ‘Operation Sindoor’. This film will center on a significant and patriotic theme—a subject that has already sparked considerable conversation.
It is reported that the film is based on Lieutenant General KJS ‘Tiny’ Dhillon’s book, Operation Sindoor: The Untold Story of India’s Deep Strikes Inside Pakistan. The movie will present a detailed and comprehensive account of the operation, which took place between May 6 and May 10, 2025.
What Did Vivek Agnihotri Say About the Film?
Speaking on the matter, Vivek Agnihotri stated, “I have always believed in telling stories that may be uncomfortable, yet are essential. My endeavor is to convey this story of bravery, professionalism, and strategic acumen to the audience with absolute truthfulness, while crafting it into a thrilling cinematic experience.”
Vivek further added, “For this film, we have conducted extensive ground-level research in collaboration with various departments of the Indian Army. Our aim is not merely to depict *what* happened, but to explain how and why it happened.

It is reported that the film will be produced under the banners of T-Series and ‘I Am Buddha Production,’ and will be directed by Vivek Agnihotri himself.
