Bharat Bandh is on Thursday, February 12th. Operations at government banks across the country may be affected. The Bharat Bandh may impact government offices, schools and colleges, markets, buses, transport, and roads.

The farmers’ union’s participation in the Bharat Bandh is expected to have a greater impact. According to Amarjeet Kaur, General Secretary of the All India Trade Union Congress, 10 employee unions and 300 million workers are participating in this Bharat Bandh.Operations at banks, government offices, transport, etc. will be affected in more than 600 districts.

Will banks remain open or closed on February 12th?

Employees and trade unions have called for a Bharat Bandh. The All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA), and Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) are also participating in this Bharat Bandh. In addition, 10 central trade unions, including INTUC, AITUC, HMS, CITU, AIUTUC, TUCC, SEWA, AICCTU, LPF, and UTUC, have also supported the strike.

Farmer organizations have also supported the strike. As for banking services, banking services will be disrupted during the Bharat Bandh. State Bank of India (SBI), UCO Bank, and Bank of Baroda have already informed the BSE that their banking services may be affected due to the strike on February 12th. It is believed that operations at public sector banks across the country will be affected today.

More than 300 million employees, laborers, and farmers are participating in this Bharat Bandh. This could impact banking, transportation, and public services. Employees may not be present in government offices. The strike on February 12th may disrupt studies in schools and colleges. Markets may remain closed in some areas due to farmer, labor, and trade union calls, and traders may be absent from markets.

Which services will remain operational during the Bharat Bandh?

Bank branch operations may be affected due to the Bharat Bandh, but services like ATMs, mobile banking, and UPI may continue.Hospitals and essential services may continue. Train services will remain unaffected. However, you may experience some difficulty reaching stations and airports.Emergency services will continue during this period.

Road blockades may occur in some cities due to farmer unions participating. Local markets and roads may remain closed in some states. The strike may cause traffic jams in some areas.
