The country’s prestigious domestic series, the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26, begins tomorrow (December 24). The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) has been entrusted with hosting the tournament. Group C matches will be played in Jaipur between December 24 and January 8, where almost all the country’s top players will be participating. Star ODI batsman Rohit Sharma will also participate in the tournament’s opening two matches. He arrived in Jaipur late on Monday (December 23).
In addition to Rohit Sharma, these players also arrived in Jaipur.
Not only Rohit Sharma, but star cricketers like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Abhishek Sharma, Arshdeep Singh, Shardul Thakur, and Sarfaraz Khan have also arrived in Rajasthan. Soon, all these players will be seen hitting sixes and fours on the Jaipur soil.
Sachin will be seen playing for Goa.
Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar, known in the sports world as the “God of Cricket,” will be seen representing Goa in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26. As of the time of writing, Arjun Tendulkar has played 22 first-class, 18 List A, and 29 T20 matches in domestic cricket.
Meanwhile, Arjun has 48 runs in 36 first-class innings at an average of 37.91, 25 runs in 18 List A innings at an average of 31.32, and 35 runs in 29 T20 innings at an average of 22.97. With the bat, he has scored 620 runs in 29 first-class innings at an average of 21.37, 102 runs in 10 List A innings at an average of 17.00, and 189 runs in 16 T20 innings at an average of 13.50.
Group C has a total of eight teams.
