Samantha and Raj get married
Media reports indicate that Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru tied the knot in a secret ceremony. However, neither Samantha nor Raj has publicly confirmed anything. Rumours of their relationship began swirling earlier this year when Raj was spotted with Samantha, the owner of the Chennai Super Champs, at a World Pickleball League match. According to a Hindustan Times report, the wedding took place early in the morning at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Centre.

Who is Raj Nidimoru?
Raj Nidimoru is a member of the renowned filmmaking team “Raj & DK.” With films like “Shor in the City,” “Cinema Bandi,” and “Unpaused,” as well as popular television shows like “The Family Man,” “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” and “Farzi,” the duo has earned recognition for their nuanced, character-driven storytelling. His recent release, Family Man 3, is a hit on OTT platforms, and Samantha also starred in its second season.
Raj was born in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, and initially enrolled at SVU College of Engineering to study engineering before moving to the US. His tech career led to filmmaking, and his 2009 directorial debut, 99, launched a successful career in both OTT and theatre.
The first marriage ended three years ago
Raj was married to Shyamali Dey in 2015, and they separated in 2022. Shyamali, a psychology graduate, has a strong background in film, having worked as an assistant director with Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj, and as a scriptwriter and consultant for films such as Rang De Basanti and Omkara.
Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. Fans have been supporting Samantha since their October 2017 wedding in Goa. However, the couple announced their separation in 2021, leaving fans disappointed. Naga also married Sobhita Dhulipala in December last year.
