Orry questioned for a long time in the drug case: He said that celebrities call him for photographs. After questioning, the influencer showed the middle finger in the post.
Popular influencer Orry appeared before the Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) on Wednesday for questioning in connection with the ₹252 crore mephedrone drug smuggling case. Orry arrived at the Ghatkopar ANC unit around 1:30 pm and was interrogated for approximately seven and a half hours.
India Today reported, citing sources, that Orry did not cooperate with the investigating team during the interrogation. He stated that he had nothing to do with the case and did not consume drugs.
Orry also stated that he attends many parties in India and abroad, but he cannot remember who was there or what happened.
Sources also stated that Orry said he is only invited to pose for photographs with celebrities. He denied knowing the accused and stated that he has no connection to the drug supply chain.
Orry may be questioned again
Investigating officials in the case have stated that Orry may be questioned again. During interrogation, Orry reportedly revealed that he earns between ₹50 lakh and ₹1 crore from Instagram promotions and works in the communications design department of Jio, earning a monthly salary of ₹3.5 lakh.
He added that Jio also covers the expenses of his driver, bodyguard, and vehicle. According to sources, Orry is being investigated to determine if he has any connections to the drug supply network.
Orry’s name surfaced during the interrogation of Mohammed Salim alias ‘Lavish’ Shaikh, an accused in the case who was brought in from Dubai. He is accused of organising rave parties for film stars in India and abroad and smuggling the drug mephedrone.
Orry posted a few hours after being questioned in the drugs case
Meanwhile, Orry shared a video just hours after being questioned by the Mumbai Police. Orry may be seen dancing and giving the middle finger while writing, “Just let me live.”
Although Orry did not mention the drug case or the interrogation in his video, social media users immediately linked it to the case.

What is the full story?
According to an India Today report, in August, the Anti-Narcotics Cell extradited Tahir Dola, son of drug trafficker Salim Dola, who worked with Dawood Ibrahim, from Dubai.
During interrogation, Tahir Dola, the main accused in the case, stated that Bollywood actors, models, rappers, filmmakers, and relatives of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim attended drug parties he organised in India and abroad.
According to a PTI report, Tahir claimed that the drug (mephedrone) was supplied at these parties. Among those who attended these parties were Shraddha Kapoor, her brother Siddharth Kapoor, Alisha Parkar (Haseena Parkar’s son), Nora Fatehi, Orry aka Orhan Avatramani, the popular filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan, rapper Loca, and Baba Siddiqui’s son Zeeshan Siddiqui.
Nora Fatehi clarified the allegations
After her name surfaced in the drug case, Nora Fatehi wrote, “I don’t go to parties, I’m always on flights, I’m a workaholic, I don’t have a personal life, I don’t associate with such people, and on my days off, I’m on the beach in Dubai or at home with my high school friends. I spend my days and nights pursuing my dreams and goals.”
Further, she wrote, “Don’t believe everything you read. It seems it’s so easy to exploit my name. But this time, I won’t let that happen. This has happened before; you people tried to destroy me by spreading lies, but they failed.
I watched silently as everyone tried to tarnish my image, defame my name, and use me as clickbait.”
