Paresh Rawal has recently made headlines for his role in the film ‘Hera Pheri 3’. When the film was announced, Paresh Rawal was very excited about the film. Now, everyone is surprised by his decision to leave the film. The film’s director, Priyadarshan, recently revealed during an interview that when Akshay Kumar came to know about Paresh Rawal leaving the film, he started crying.
In an interview to Mid-Day, Priyadarshan said- the contracts of all the actors for the film had been signed. 10 days ago, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal were also going to shoot the teaser, which was going to be released during the IPL finale. We were all eager to make ‘Hera Pheri 3’ and everyone agreed to it. Akshay himself had completed all the preparations for making ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
Priyadarshan told- Akshay Kumar has an emotional attachment to the film. When he came to know about Paresh’s decision to leave the film, he became emotional. He started crying and asked me- Why is Paresh doing this? If Paresh does not want to do the film, then Akshay Kumar should not lose money because of it. I understand why Akshay has taken the step of sending a notice. Whatever decision Paresh had to make, he should have talked to us once. We have all been friends for years, everything could have been told and understood on a call.
Talking about Paresh Rawal leaving the film, Priyadarshan said- Paresh Rawal did not tell me about his decision. We have been friends for many years, Paresh could have contacted me or someone else directly. Only last week we have completed the shooting of ‘Bhoot Bangla’ with Akshay.
Following the media announcement, Paresh Rawal wrote me a note. He had written that I have no complaints with you. I respect you a lot. I have my reasons for not doing the film. We will definitely work in the future. However, I have tried to stop him and sent him a message to call me.
