Karan Veer Mehra, a prominent figure in Indian television, clinched the coveted Bigg Boss 18 title in a spectacular finale hosted by Salman Khan.
The season’s conclusion saw Karanveer emerge victorious, walking away with the gleaming trophy and a prize purse of ₹50 lakh. This unexpected triumph saw him outshine his fellow finalists—Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh, Chum Darang, Rajat Dalal, and Avinash Mishra—in a nail-biting culmination.
Post-finale, former contestant Hema Sharma reflected on Karanveer’s surprising victory. She remarked, “Yeh toh lagta hai taqdeer ka khel tha, warna sab soch rahe the ki Vivian Dsena hi jeetenge. Hum bhi chauk gaye jab Karan ka naam announce hua, par yeh maan karte hain ki woh deserved hai, aur bas woh aise hi zindagi mein aage badhe (This felt like destiny’s play; otherwise, everyone thought Vivian Dsena would win. We were equally startled when Karan’s name was declared, but we accept it as deserved, and may he continue progressing in life this way).”
Shrutika Arjun, another former participant, echoed admiration for the finalists’ perseverance. “Andar rehna kitna mushkil hai, yeh toh sirf hum samajh sakte hain. Pura 105 din jo kisi ne nikaala, uske liye bas badhai. Chaahe koi bhi jeeta ho un paanch mein se, sab ko mera Dil se mubarak (Only we can understand how grueling it is to survive inside for 105 days. Whoever among the five emerged victorious, they have my heartfelt congratulations).”
On a more personal note, Karanveer’s evolving rapport with co-contestant Chum Darang became one of the season’s highlights. Their camaraderie blossomed into a romantic connection, adding tender moments to an otherwise high-tension atmosphere. Karanveer, who has previously faced challenges in his personal life with two marriages ending in divorce, appeared to find an affectionate bond with Chum, which resonated with viewers.
Karanveer’s triumph may have sparked unexpected reactions, but it encapsulated the spirit of the show—unpredictability and resilience in the face of challenges. His journey has left an indelible mark on the Bigg Boss legacy.
