Who is IITian Baba Abhay Singh Grewal?
Abhay Singh Grewal was a resident of the Jhajjar district of Haryana. He had done his B.Tech pursuing Aerospace Engineering from IIT Mumbai. He had worked in Canada with a package of Rs 25 lakhs. According to media reports, he was paid Rs. 3 lakh per month in Canada. Later then, he left the glamour and the world for the spiritual Path.
In an interview given to a TV channel, Abhay Singh told everything about himself.
He says that the world likes labels but I do not like any kind of label. Abhay Singh says that I aimed to seek salvation but the job was blocking my path to liberation. The job had tied me in such a framework that a person gets tied in a label.
People started thinking that he was crazy. He used to meditate at home as well but then people started considering him crazy. He went to Canada in 2019 for a job, from where he left the job and came back.
Abhay said, “It felt like there is no use earning more money if you don’t get happiness. Even businessmen and people with a lot of money are not happy. Better than this, follow your craze and passion.” After this, Abhay Singh did travel photography, filmmaking, and marketing but he got bored of this as well. This is how he chose the path of spirituality.
Abhay Singh’s family had refused to let him turn to spirituality.
The atmosphere of his home was very bad since childhood. He met Guru Someshwar Puri in Banaras. It was he who changed Abhay Singh’s life. He said that the source of knowledge is Mahadev. Abhay Singh’s guru Someshwar Puri introduced him to Aghoris and Naga Sadhus so that by seeing them he could immerse himself in Sadhna with maximum power. In this way, he left modern life and chose the path of spirituality.
