The much-anticipated teaser of Sikandar, starring Salman Khan, has encountered a deferment.
Initially slated to premiere on December 27—marking the megastar’s 59th birthday—the unveiling has now been rescheduled for December 28 in the wake of the passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on December 26.
The company finally released an official statement issued through their X handle sharing that the teaser would then only bless screens at exactly 11:07 AM on the new date.
“In respect to the tragic passing of our honored ex-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Ji, we hereby announce the deferment of the launch date for the teaser of Sikandar to December 28, 11:07 AM (sic)”.
To fuel further hype, the filmmakers have just released a thrilling first-look poster on December 26. Salman Khan, who dons an impeccable suit in this image, grips a spear with an imposing stance while being shrouded by an aura of mystery that ignites curiosity.
This cinematic venture comes as yet another collaboration by Salman Khan with the much-acclaimed producer Sajid Nadiadwala, with whom he has previously yielded blockbuster hits such as Kick and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Presented by the talented AR Murugadoss, this film Sikandar does promise to bring together very high-octane action, coupled with an engrossing narrative.
The movie will feature Salman Khan in a powerful, metamorphic avatar as the action continues from the previous year of success with Tiger 3 in 2023. The highlights of the film will come from Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal as this will further increase the project’s charm.
The Sikandar movie will finally hit the theatres for a grand release on Eid 2025. The movie plans to leave an unforgettable mark on Salman Khan’s successful career list.
