Sanjana (Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar) confronts her parents and marries Aravind (Ganesh Ventraman). They both get separated after the birth of Rhea (baby Niveksha). But Rian. Surya (Mime Gopi) tries to kill Sanjana. But after separating from her husband Arvind, she takes the help of her lawyer friend Rahul (Shashank) to save her baby.
Why did Sanjana break up with Arvind whom she loved and married? What kind of fight happened between them regarding their daughter? Why does Surya target Sanjana? What is Sanjana’s mental disorder? What problems did his mental deficiency cause? How did Riya save himself from Surya? The story of the movie Sabari is the answer to the questions of what is the end of the relationship with Arvind.
The point chosen by director Anil Katz is good. But due to various errors in the story and some problems in terms of screenplay in the first part, the first part seems to be stretched a bit. But 15 minutes before the interval, the story goes into another zone with a twist. Some interesting elements in the second half increase the interest in the story. But even though there is scope to tell the story differently.. it is clear that no efforts have been made in that direction.
And Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, who is impressive with the roles of angry young women.. it has to be said that she has come aside from her image and made a film that has a scope of performance. It goes without saying that she has the ability to carry the entire weight of the film on her shoulders with this film. Sabari means motherhood. Due to the lack of variations in the story, she did full justice to the scope of her role.
As for the rest of the characters, Ganesh Venkatraman will appear as a guest. But it must be said that the character is strong for the story. Mim Gopi impressed in the negative shade. Madhu Nandan, Sunayana, and Baby Niveksha have done justice to the scope of their roles.
And when it comes to the performance of the technical departments.. Gopi Sundar’s background score is good. It seems that if some scenes were cut in the first stop, a better feeling would have been created. And the production values are plus points for this movie. Although new to the industry. The production values followed by producer Mahendra Nath Kundla are good. I think it would have been better if more attention had been paid to the story and stories.
Sabari is a psychological thriller with mother sentiment. If the performance of the actors is a plus point of this movie.. the lack of variation in the story.. it does not look like the novelty has hit because the movie is going on the same point. But emotions are well worked out in many scenes. Fans of Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and those who love her acting will love this movie.
