EXCLUSIVE: Producers of ‘Toxic’ and ‘Thalapathy 69’ Set to Enter Bollywood with Priyadarshan’s Next Project
KVN Productions, known for backing two of South India’s most anticipated films—Toxic and Thalapathy 69—are set to make their Bollywood debut in collaboration with Thespian Films. This new venture will be helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan.
Toxic marks Yash’s return to the big screen following the massive success of the KGF series, while Thalapathy 69 will be the swan song for Tamil cinema’s megastar. Both films are on track for a 2025 release, generating significant buzz. In a major development, KVN Productions is stepping into the Hindi film industry alongside Thespian Films, with plans to start production on their first Hindi feature soon.
According to insiders, KVN Productions, led by prominent industrialist Venkat Narayana, and Thespian Films, spearheaded by Shailaja Desai Fenn, have teamed up to produce this highly anticipated Hindi film under Priyadarshan’s direction. Though details are being kept tightly under wraps, sources suggest that the project is ready to commence filming soon. An official announcement is expected in the near future, and the film is anticipated to go on floors later this year.
“This project is special, and everything has come together perfectly to kickstart the production,” said the source.
For those who are not aware, Priyadarshan recently said that he and Akshay Kumar will be working together again on the unique horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, which is scheduled to go into production in early 2025 and be released in late 2025.
