What is the Full Story?
Recently, the Hema Committee report brought to light many revelations regarding Malayalam cinema, which involved a few of the familiar faces of this industry. One of the actresses accused Siddiqui of sexual harassment at Muscat Hotel in January 2016.
Although Siddiqui reportedly condemned the case of false complaints against the actress, the latter did step up into public and declared, “I had just completed my Plus Two when he came across me on social media. At first, I thought it was a fake account but later realized that it was him. After previewing his film Sukhamayirikatte, he invited me for a discussion at the Muscat Hotel. I was then 21 years old.”
Sexually Harrassed During the Meeting
The actress further said, “He used to call me ‘Mol’ (daughter). When I went to meet him, he sexually harassed me. Fortunately, I managed to escape from that situation. Siddiqui is a criminal. If he sees the mirror, a criminal will be staring at him. Because of him, I lost my dreams and my mental peace.”
