Diljit Dosanjh is currently making headlines for his Dil-Luminati World Tour. During his recent performance in Birmingham, he was joined on stage by none other than international music sensation Ed Sheeran.
The crowd went wild as Ed Sheeran performed his iconic track Shape of You, and Diljit added his touch by blending in the Punjabi song Naina. The fusion of both songs had the entire stadium dancing. Ed Sheeran also mentioned that with this performance, he was “repaying the favor” to his brother Diljit. This was about Diljit’s support when Ed performed in India earlier this year.
Ed Sheeran shared a video from the Birmingham concert on his official Instagram account. Diljit welcomed Ed to the stage in his signature Punjabi style, saying, “Ed Sheeran aa gaya oy!” The two then delivered an unforgettable performance, mixing Shape of You with Naina.
Ed Sheeran captioned the video, “Repaying the favor of my brother Diljit Dosanjh tonight in Birmingham. What an amazing vibe, thank you for inviting me.”
Diljit also expressed his gratitude on social media, writing, “My brother Ed Sheeran wrapped up the show in Birmingham. What a night! Lots of love and respect. Thank you, Birmingham, for all the love.”
Diljit Performed at Ed Sheeran’s Concert in Mumbai
Earlier this year, Ed Sheeran performed in Mumbai at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in March. Many Bollywood stars attended the concert, and Diljit also joined Ed on stage. Ed Sheeran even sang a Punjabi song for the first time during their performance, which became a hot topic on social media.
Currently, Diljit Dosanjh is continuing his Dil-Luminati World Tour. After his international shows, he will perform in 10 cities across India. All of Diljit’s shows are already sold out.
