Janhvi Landed the Role Through Karan Johar’s Recommendation
Jr NTR disclosed that while working on the script, they had not yet decided who would play the role of Thangam, and initially, there was no plan to cast Janhvi. Even toward the end of the scripting process, Janhvi was not in consideration.
Jr NTR said, “Honestly, while writing the script, we hadn’t thought about casting anyone specific. Karan Johar called me and suggested that Janhvi is a talented actress, and we should consider her for the film. Even then, we weren’t set on casting her, but eventually, everything fell into place, and we cast her.”
